Glad alla hjärtans dag kära läsare!
Den senaste tiden har jag både fått mail och kommentarer med frågor om en riktigt god frosting till cupcakes. Någon undrade även över receptet på frostingen jag använt till dom här blåa sötnosarna.
Därför tänkte jag idag passa på att dela med mig av mitt absoluta favoritrecept när det kommer till frosting. Jag hade tänkt att baka fina cupcakes till ikväll, men sambon har fixat barnvakt och vi ska äta på favoritrestaurangen här i stan. Så idag slipper jag både baka och laga mat!
Men till receptet då, det är en variant på vit choklad, creme cheese, smör och florsocker. Sedan är det bara att smaksätta med vad man gillar allra bäst! Vanilj, likör eller kanske kakao.
Frosting med cream cheese och vit choklad:
60 g mjukt smör
200 g cream cheese
ca 2-3 dl florsocker
1 tsk vaniljsocker
200 g vit choklad
Vispa smör och cream cheese mjukt, rör i ca två dl av florsockret och allt vaniljsocker. Finhacka chokladen och smält den över vattenbad. Låt den svalna innan du sakta rör i den. Blanda till en jämn och tjock frosting, tillsätt mer florsocker om den käns för lös.
Färga i valfri färg och spritsa på dina cupcakes.

Låter ju jättegott, men blir det inte väldigt sött med florsocker OCH den vita chokladen? Särskilt om man spritsar på så mycket och inte bara smetar på ett tunt lager?
Måste ändå absolut testa det här receptet!

Min syster fyller 27 nästa vecka, hon har precis köpt en ny lägenhet som har ett stort kök. Innan har hon levt i en liten trång lägenhet med bara kokvrå. Nu lagar hon mat och ställer till med stora bakverk nästan varje dag. Det är allt från söta cupkakes, bullar till stora tårtor. Hon älskar 50-tal och hela köket pryds av vackra fat och gamla färgglada burkar. Nu vill jag ju ge henne den perfekta presenten! Jag undrar om du kan ge mig några förslag eller tips.
